A series of performances linking Artists, Musicians and Poets who unite to investigate the relationship between everyday life in the city and our collective consciousness.

Expect bold, experimental, improvised and anarchic performances.

Form and content have been pushed together an experimental structure. Each participant has provided the following with a word/object/sound or image stimulus. This chain has driven their collective responses together in a stream of collective conciousness.

Candida Powell-Williams received The Arthouse Studio Award for 2011-12. Candida graduated from MA Sculpture at the Royal College of Art in 2011 and began her studio residency in November 2011. This exhibition reveals hidden themes and concepts in the phrase “Down To Earth”. A common enough phrase often associated with just plain honest no-nonsense being and existing..but is it? As Kenneth Williams' character in the Radio Four comedy series Round The Horn would often cryptically comment: “The answer lies in the soil…” So here you may find more than you would expect. An artist's slant on earthy themes, ecological ideas, scientific discoveries, voyages into colour schemes of earthy hues, textures, substances. Expect to find here an imaginative and playful array of work that celebrates and critiques our attitudes to the earth and earthiness.

An exhibition of new paintings and photographs by Franz Neudeck and Guenther Uttecht.

Franz Neudeck´s work is based on his photographical work, which he converts into abstract paintings. He elaborates details and transfers these back into photographs.

Guenther Uttecht has developed his own unique style in photography. He searches for colours, signs and structures mainly on metallic surfaces, using a camera macro lens. The results are absolutely surprising and give the viewers the possibility for their own interpretation.

Both artists have exhibited their contemporary art on many occasions and always receive outstanding reviews.
