‘Two Sides of the Same Coin’ is a powerful conceptual exhibition led by a dynamic group
of female artists, exploring themes of rest, transformation, shame, and self-acceptance,
among others. The exhibition delves into the complexity of the human
experience, capturing a sense of personal and collective evolution. Through their mental,
emotional, and physical responses, the artists express these ideas across a variety of
mediums including, printmaking, installation pieces, paintings, textiles and performances.
This exhibition offers an opportunity to share stories and perspectives, encouraging viewers to connect, reflect, and appreciate these shared human experiences.
‘Two Sides of the Same Coin’ highlights the intersection of these artists’ works,
emphasizing the commonalities that emerge from different personal journeys. It offers a
collective female lens on the human condition, unraveling concepts of rest, vulnerability,
and intimacy.
