Rosie Kennedy – Graduate Award Scheme winner

9th April 2025

‘Things that don’t make sense. Words losing their meaning like systems lose their meaning. OFFICE OFFICE OFFICE. Feeling through confusion. Reusing things and retrofitting. The challenge of this. Short cuts and unnecessarily long routes. Laziness stroke last resort. Made new – made broken. I made a 2x4m rain catcher in my room to combat a leaking ceiling. Making do. Making good. Maintenance. Bootleg versions. Jobs, cars, tote bags. Showing the cogs and pulling them apart. Making and breaking connections. Language, lies, labour (getting lost within them). Working with friends, places, spaces and very much looking forward to working with Lewisham Arthouse!’
